    Job Roles: GAM Investments are looking for a school/college leaver or graduate to become a Legal, Compliance & Risk Trainee, within the Cambridge office.

    Cantab, now an integral part of GAM Systematic, is a 10+ year old successful quantitative investment team based in Cambridge. We apply statistical and mathematical methods to a wide variety of financial markets to generate returns and manage assets for some of the most sophisticated investors worldwide. The team and offering has been growing steadily since its launch in 2006 and now the investment team is 30+ people at our Research & Development centre in Cambridge and GAM employs in total over 1000 people worldwide.

    You will assist with the duties of the following departments:

    - Legal: Under the supervision of qualified solicitors, you will assist the legal function on the legal, regulatory and commercial issues affecting the business

    - Compliance: The Compliance function reviews and responds to queries from the business as well as providing interpretations of regulations.

    - Risk: The Risk function is responsible in continuous development of the approved risk management framework and reviews all qualitative & quantitative risks associated with the business.

    As an Investment20/20 Trainee you will benefit from centrally organised learning and development opportunities and additional training organised by GAM's in-house Learning & Development Department, Trainees will be given the opportunity to start an industry recognised professional qualification.
