You will join as a trainee as part of the Investment20/20 one-year trainee programme. While we can’t guarantee a permanent position at the end of the 12-month contract, however, if you perform well & if we have an open position available at the time, then permanent employment could be a possibility. The Investment20/20 trainee programme is offered by many investment management firms and 75% of the 3,000 Investment20/20 trainees are offered permanent positions at the end of the one year.
As a trainee, you will be introduced to investment management and you will gain industry knowledge, experience and develop relationships to progress your career and develop skills to secure a permanent role. We will support you in achieving/starting a professional qualification if this is something you are interested in doing (most firms offer it and we highly recommend doing so). As part of the Investment20/20 programme, you will have opportunities to meet and network with over 300 trainees across the industry and participate in socials and insight events.
Our trainee programme is a fixed term one-year contract paying £28,000. You will receive 27 days annual leave. All roles are based in London.
The Core UK Marketing & Client Service Trainee will work within the Core Northern Europe Marketing Team and UK Core Client Service assisting with all events, marketing and servicing activities. They will work closely with other internal teams such as; specialist marketing teams, communications team, sales teams & investment specialists, to help raise the visibility of AXA Investment Managers a a responsible investor, business and employer, actively investing for the long-term so that our clients, people and communities can move forward. The trainee would cover both marketing and events projects across UK Wholesale, UK Institutional and the Dutch market to gain broad experience of marketing & events communications, activities and planning.
The Northern Europe Marketing Team consist of 5 full time members and 1 trainee. The team all report into Lisa Bush (Head of Marketing for Northern Europe). The UK Client Service team consist of 14 full and part time members reporting directly to Julie Hamilton-Redwood Head of Core UK Client Service.
Marketing
· Contribute to the implementation of the UK marketing strategy for both Institutional & Wholesale client segments, to include ownership and project management of key industry sponsored and AXA IM proprietary events and all associated marketing activity.
· Help to raise the visibility of AXA Investment Managers and our key corporate themes, as well as provide support as required on other key marketing initiatives such as our virtual sales roadshows (virtual lunches), reporting on events and marketing comms and learning/using our marketing email platform Eloqua and the Salesforce CRM system.
· Event Management & Logistics for UK Wholesale, UK Institutional and the Netherlands.
· Helping to maintain the UK Budget. Raising Purchase Orders’s (PO’s) and receipting invoices for the team.
· Reporting: Keeping active ownership on all statistics and return on investment documents across the team.
Client Service
· Help Co-ordinate activities for UK Institutional prospects and clients
· Undertake market research of specific UK Institutional segments
· Co-ordinate pitch prep and key messages
· Support the UK Institutional sales and client team to help achieve agreed targets
· Salesforce super user for the UK Institutional business to ensure all data is correct
· Perform other tasks and projects as assigned from time to time
· Ensure all client documentation is up to date and in line with Group and Regulatory standards
· Adhere to AXA IM’s Risk and Control Policy and follow AXA IM’s standard policies and procedures.
