Our traineeship will introduce you to investment management and you will gain industry knowledge, experience and develop relationships enabling you to progress your career and provide you with skills to secure a permanent role. As part of the Investment20/20 programme, you will have opportunities to meet and network with over 300 trainees across the industry and participate in socials and insight events. Our trainee programme is a fixed term one year contract paying £30,000. You will receive 28 days annual leave.
All roles are based in London.
We will offer a sign-on bonus of £1,500 to cover a season ticket/clothes/deposit.
This is a programme intended to give you a breadth of knowledge and experience within the business to enable you to make informed decisions about where you would like to develop your career.
The Corporate Communications team manages both internal and external communications at Candriam, including employee communications, intranet oversight, media relations, and client communications.
This role would suit someone who is proactive, eager to learn, and interested in the intersection of finance and communication.
· Update, organise, and post news stories on Candriam’s intranet.
· Support stakeholders with their internal communication needs, including creating and sharing company updates through emails, newsletters, and other internal platforms to keep employees informed.
· Collaborate with the media relations team to manage media inquiries, draft press releases, and support external communication efforts, including positioning Candriam’s content and thought leadership externally.
· Assist with administrative and operational tasks such as updating databases, managing invoices, and organising important communication projects.
· Help coordinate and manage internal events or town halls, ensuring consistent messaging and smooth execution.
· Monitor and report on communication activities to measure engagement and provide insights for improvement.
· Support the creation of visual materials (e.g., presentations, infographics, or video scripts) to enhance communication efforts.
· Stay updated on asset management industry trends and best practices to bring fresh ideas to internal and external communications.
· Assist in ensuring consistent use of the brand’s tone, voice, and messaging across all communication channels.
