What will you be doing?
We have four fantastic trainee roles available this year, each offering hands-on experience in key areas of Aviva Investors. From managing risks and working with suppliers to supporting investment strategies and ensuring we operate responsibly, these roles will give you real exposure to how a global asset manager operates.
Some of our trainees will gain insight into how we manage risks and keep our business safe, supporting teams in monitoring and investigating risk events, ensuring we meet regulatory requirements, and preparing reports that influence decision-making at the highest level. Others will have the opportunity to work in Operations & Technology, gaining broad experience across business functions. This includes working in supplier governance, learning how we work with external partners, improving processes through automation, and understanding the importance of sustainability in our supply chain. They will then rotate into our Technology team, where they’ll get first-hand experience of how we manage IT projects that support our investment teams.
For those interested in investments, there are roles that provide exposure to Public Markets, where you’ll be at the centre of front office investment teams , analysing data and learning how asset management operate.
Alternatively, a role in Compliance will allow you to support teams ensuring that we follow financial regulations and meet ethical standards, helping to shape how we do business responsibly.
Across all roles, you’ll develop highly transferable skills, build valuable relationships, and gain real-world experience that will prepare you for a future career in financial services.
