Client Implementation and Transformations Trainee
Why do you enjoy your job?
One of the things I enjoy most about my role is that it is constantly changing and no two days are the same. There are a wide range of projects that are currently running within the team and all are approached differently, so I am constantly thinking on my feet and applying knowledge acquired into various situations, which is something that I thoroughly enjoy. In my role I work with various teams across the whole organisation and gain knowledge of what they do not only in terms of an individual project, but also within the overall business. I also engage with clients and help to make key decisions.
What is the most challenging thing about your job?
The most challenging thing about this role is the high level of knowledge that is required as we are often the bridge between the client and internal teams. Clients and team members have requests or questions which need to be answered very quickly. As a new trainee with very little knowledge in this area, it can be quite hard to answer the question or know where to direct the query. However, everyone is always willing to help me find the relevant information. Also being able to talk to subject matter experts has helped to build my knowledge and over time my confidence has grown to tackle these questions.
How did you get into your job?
After completing a degree in Aerospace Engineering at Kingston University London, I decided that I wanted to pursue a career in the financial industry. I undertook a trading internship where the manager introduced me to the vast number of opportunities at Investment20/20.
How would you sum up your Investment20/20 experience?
Investment20/20 provides an invaluable experience. The team helps to enhance skills that are essential in the financial industry and offers the perfect opportunity to meet like-minded individuals and to broaden your network.
