Careers Outreach

Investment20/20 helps drive a forward thinking, responsible and inclusive investment industry where every firm attracts, develops and retains talented people from all backgrounds.

Our outreach programme supports people to explore careers in investment management and help them to navigate a route into the sector.

  • In England, our outreach activities correlate to the Gatsby Benchmarks and contributes to a whole school and college careers plan.
  • In Scotland we work closely with Developing Young Workforce, and we are a signatory of the Young Person’s Guarantee, reflective of our work to support schools, colleges and those organisations who support people looking for job opportunities in Scotland.

We deliver sessions to Y11/S4 groups and upwards. Our sessions help students to explore careers in investment management and develop skills for the recruitment process. All workshop requests must be submitted through the booking form. If you have a different session request, please add this to the booking form.

"Investment20/20 provides our learners with many opportunities to network with industry professionals from the investment management, preparing our young people to be ‘future job ready’, understanding the technical knowledge and skills required for this sector while developing a much broader set of employability skills. Through a mix of employer encounters and insights, work experience and internships, our learners are experiencing valuable insights into the world of work which are transformative, giving them the confidence to forge successful future careers."

"It was a privilege to be work with Investment20/20 as part of our Finance Conference. Our students valued the opportunities available on the day, and the workshops enabled everyone involved to broaden their understanding of the investment sector. This conference was full to capacity, with students embracing the networking experience and learning opportunities. We are looking forward to continuing our work with Investment20/20."
