Why do you enjoy your job?
I work in Client Operations and my team is responsible for facilitating the successful launch of client projects. I have learnt so much since starting at Aviva Investors, from creating important reports to reorganising and updating our digital team site. My team liaises daily with multiple different business areas and this has provided me with a great understanding of the overall functioning of the business. I enjoy that it is always evolving and so there are always opportunities to learn new things.
What is the most challenging thing about your job?
It takes time to understand all the various aspects of this industry. There’s plenty of jargon used daily and being in the work environment I have realised that I know and understand more than I thought.
How did you get into your job?
I came straight from school after completing my A-levels. University was presented as the main option at my sixth form, so I did my own extensive research and I came across Investment20/20.
Investment20/20 has given me an invaluable opportunity. It introduced me to an exciting and truly interesting industry, which I otherwise may not have considered. This is an industry where everyone can thrive. Investment20/20 is opening the door for us and making this possible.
