Why do you enjoy your job?

One of the most enjoyable aspects of my job is the broad exposure I get to the teams here at BMO, as well as liaising with external parties. Having the opportunity to touch different parts of the business has developed my knowledge and ability to understand what really goes on.

What is the most challenging thing about your job?

One challenge was trying to adapt into the work environment and being an apprentice, I felt that it was quite difficult to prioritise and balance different work or projects that I was involved in as I felt I needed to complete it as soon as possible. However, the teams are friendly and supportive which allowed me to understand and gage with the work improving my efficiency.

How did you get into your job?

At sixth form we had many career events laid on, and this is where I was introduced to Investment20/20. I have always been determined on joining the financial services industry and I felt like Investment20/20 was a perfect organisation to get a foot in the door! By simply subscribing my email to the website I was constantly updated with job vacancies in the Investment Management sector and from this I applied to BMO.

What are your future aspirations?

My experience at BMO and Investment20/20 has been great! The Investment20/20 events have been very beneficial and enabled me to build friends within BMO and across the industry. I would highly recommend to any school leaver!
