Why do you enjoy your job?

My job is to analyse small and medium-sized enterprises to see their debt payment abilities. I think the main reason that I am suited to this job is because I studied accounting, finance and mathematics during my bachelor degree. The job requires good accounting knowledge and also good maths skills to analyse and interpret ratios and trends.

What is the most challenging thing about your job?

In order to understand about the companies properly, I need to read financial reports/statements and also industry analysing reports. Sometimes these documents can be hard to understand. It can take time to familiarise myself with the material and ask help from colleagues.

How did you get into your job?

After university, it was my plan to work in the asset management industry. I applied to several asset management companies, but wasn’t successful due to my lack of work experience. One of the employers recommended I look at Investment20/20’s website. The jobs offered here are quite unique, tailored to people who want to work in this sector but do not already have relevant experience. I found and applied for many jobs through the website. If you want to work in this sector but lack of experience, I would strongly recommend using this website.

How would you sum up your Investment20/20 experience?

I am grateful to Investment20/20 for providing such great career opportunities, their help has been invaluable.
