Why do you enjoy your job?

I enjoy the fast-paced environment and the challenges that come with that. I learn something new every day. My roles within the investment accounting team have given me excellent working knowledge of the daily NAV (net asset value) process, as well as develop my communication skills with clients. I like that there are plenty of opportunities available to expand my knowledge; through various training workshops and online courses; and my manager is extremely supportive in my development.

What is the most challenging thing about your job?

With the fast-paced environment comes the tight deadline. Learning how to manage my time and prioritise my tasks in order to meet these deadlines is challenging, particularly when there are conflicting deadlines.

How did you get into your job?

I applied whilst I was completing my dissertation at university and the role started the week after it was due, so it fell perfectly for me finishing at university.

What are your future aspirations?

I have secured a permanent position within the financial reporting team and I look forward to completing my remaining ACCA exams with the support of BNP Paribas.

How would you sum up your Investment20/20 experience?

A rewarding experience that has enabled me to build my career.
