Why do you enjoy your job?

I work in the Business Continuity team at Janus Henderson. Business Continuity involves planning and preparing to ensure the organisation can continue and maintain operations in case of a major incident. I enjoy the interaction with other business areas/offices and the variety of tasks in my job.

What is the most challenging thing about your job?

One of the most challenging parts of my jobs is remembering the business continuity terminology and learning how to use new systems. However over time this has become easier and I have a supportive team that is there if I ever need help.

How did you get into your job?

After graduating from Leeds University I was unsure what I wanted to do. I came across the Investment20/20 scheme by chance, saw the great opportunities they had and so applied. Before this scheme I knew little about the asset management industry or the different types of jobs that are available in this sector. Without Investment20/20 I would not be doing the job I am doing now so I am grateful that it enabled me to get this experience in an interesting sector.

What are your future aspirations?

I hope to stay in the asset management industry and continue to work in the Business Continuity/risk area.

How would you sum up your Investment20/20 experience?

My Investment20/20 experience has been informative, challenging and enjoyable.
