Why do you enjoy your job?

I enjoy my job because there is always new tasks and projects to be working on, every day is different and I am constantly learning. There is always the opportunity to meet new people, learn about different aspects of the industry and receive training to help fulfil your job role expectations.

What is the most challenging thing about your job?

My role can be challenging as no two days are never the same. Due to my workload, I have learnt that time management is key in successfully organising my day.

How did you get into your job?

At sixth form I studied A Level History, English Literature and Maths. I had the opportunity to complete work experience in an accounting firm, as I knew I wanted to pursue a career in finance/accounting/business. During my last year at sixth form I came across the Investment20/20 scheme, this fitted perfectly with what I wanted to do – study, work and build on skills to help me further my career. I applied for many companies and was offered a role at Schroders Investment Management.

How would you sum up your Investment20/20 experience?

I would say that my Investment20/20 experience so far has been very fulfilling, not only have I opened up my career options and opportunities but also broadened my knowledge of the investment industry and the different job roles you can move into.
