Why do you enjoy your job?

I enjoy having the opportunity to work in my current team and to always work on new tasks and projects; secondly, there is always the opportunity to meet new people, learn about different parts of the industry and benefit from on-the-job training.

What is the most challenging thing about your job?

One of the most challenging aspects about my job is the different terminology that is used throughout the industry which can at first be overwhelming.

How did you get into your job?

I graduated from Kingston University in 2014 and started work for a boutique asset management firm in the City, which gave me with valuable skills and confirmed that this is the industry I want to be in. Shortly after, I decided to further my studies, travel and I also secured several roles within various sectors, which further enhanced my technical and soft skills. The Investment20/20 programme has helped me enormously in getting my ‘foot in the door’ within a very competitive industry.

How would you sum up your Investment20/20 experience?

Investment20/20 has provided me with valuable insight events and opportunities to meet other trainees from across the industry with similar career aspirations. Furthermore, being able to meet leaders within the industry provided great insights to different career paths available.
