History and governance
Nedgroup Investments is a wholly owned subsidiary of Nedbank, one of South Africa’s largest and longest standing banking groups. Nedbank’s history traces back to the early 19th century with the establishment of the Cape of Good Hope Bank in 1831.
This will be a great opportunity to start your career and learn about client servicing and new business development within the investment management industry.
You will join as a trainee as part of the Investment20/20 programme. As a trainee, you will be introduced to investment management and you will gain industry knowledge, experience and develop relationships to progress your career. As part of the Investment20/20 programme, you will have opportunities to meet and network with over 250 trainees across the industry and participate in socials and insight events for the first 12 months of your employment.

This is permanent contract paying an annual salary of £30,000.
25 days holiday per annum (increasing to 30 days)

If successful, you will join as a permanent member of the Nedgroup Investments Commercial Team. Your role will be to support the investment distribution efforts, providing critical support to our commercial team across, sales, product, marketing and client experience to grow our assets through client retention and identifying new business opportunities in the UK, Ireland and Switzerland. The team of 6 are based in London and South Africa.
The team work closely with a variety of other teams across the business, including portfolio managers, legal, compliance, and operations, amongst others. The successful candidate will work alongside the Commercial team, initially taking on entry level tasks whilst being mentored, trained, and developed, with the aim of building a strong foundation of knowledge relating to the various functions within investment distribution.
We look for dedicated and curious individuals with an entrepreneurial spirit who will thrive in our collaborative and supportive environment. A successful candidate will have a strong interest in AI and leveraging technology to complete tasks.
